Today I am sharing my memories of Bonalu festival. A whole new experience for me. A local annual festival here in Sec'bad. A festival for thanksgiving to goddess "MAHAKALI".
Silver Boy : a road side actor
I was returning home that night, and taxi stopped far away from
apartment. There was huge crowd on road for Bonalu festival celebration, a
local festival in rainy season. I was finding my way towards home. But there
was something on that roadside surrounded by a small crowd. I was
curious to see what's that so I breached in. It was a boy sitting on
the ground; wearing a 'langot'. Silver boy, I called. He was
painted silver himself. His langot was silver painted and a silver
spectacle without glasses. He was really funny and most entertaining
road side actor, I've ever met. I clicked a photograph of him and flash
capture all his attention towards me. Then he was his best for my
clicks. After 2-3 clicks he moved his empty hand towards me to get paid for his poses. I paid him and then move in huge crowd to be a part of the
festival.
Those Eyes : statue or real
The reason behind capturing this photo is those eyes, beautiful eyes of that girl. I was
looking at her and couldn't recognize that is it real human or it's
only a statue. And then her eyes turned towards me, and I kept looking at
her for a while. I mean wow, it was only her eyes showing all emotion
without any expression and movement on the face. Then i realize that I can capture those in my camera and keep them
always with me. I just fell in love on
those eyes. There was so much innocence, love and kindness in those tired eyes.
It's hard to hear something else when there's beat. Also its hard to click when you are thinking for dancing on those beats.
Selfie Moment:
Well if you are alone in this type of crowd, you are at your own. It's not that hard but you have to wait sometime for the right selfie and ofcourse don't forget to thank to the person or persons with whom you are clicking yourself.
